Information About the Authors
Dr. Peter Weill is currently a member of the faculty of the Melbourne Business School at the University of Melbourne. Professor Weill is a member of the board of directors of the Melbourne Business School as well as the Foundation Chair of Management (Information Systems). He has held visiting professorships at the Sloan School of Business, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the College of Business Administration at Georgia State University. He was educated at the University of Melbourne and New York University. In addition to his academic positions, Dr. Weill is frequently called on to advise government and corporate organizations on matters concerning their Information Technology investments. He has been published by both academic and business presses, with numerous books, case studies, and articles to his credit.

Dr. Marianne Broadbent is currently the Gartner Group's Information Technology executive program director for Australia and New Zealand. Prior to accepting the position with Gartner Group, Dr. Broadbent was a professor of management information systems at the Melbourne Business School at the University of Melbourne. Prior to this position she has held the position of visiting researcher at Boston University, head of the Department of information Services at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and managed her own successful consulting and advisory service. Dr. Broadbent was awarded her doctorate by the University of Melbourne, after receiving her bachelors and masters degrees from Sydney and Macquarie Universities, respectively.
